is currently in concept phase, the asset is planned to have phase 1 of the project (10MW Power Plant) Commissioned by end 2023. For Phase 1 of the project the plan is to construct a 10MW solar farm with a 1,5MW 24hour capacity which will feed the main business district of Kwaggafontein (+-100000 households). Once this phase is operational and successful, the larger plant to convert the whole of Thembisile Hani Local Municipality to 100% Green energy will commence.
